Gibson ES 125 TC

Gibson ES 125 TC

Gibson ES 125 TC

Dear Lynne, I have an es125tc given to my father by his
mother on his return from the Korean war. Need date of
manufacture to settle family argument. Serial #97743
She's a bit rough but Lord can she play sweet. Dad's
been gone many years now but he left with me the gift
of music.

p.s. I left this same message as a comment to Christine's
question from 10-1-09. If that was not smart to include the serial # maybe you can nix it.

Thanks a bunch Lynne, I've been trying to find this info for years. I bought the acoustic blue book
but it did not include the es.

ANSWER

Hi, Rich--

Beautiful!

Like I said in the comments section--

I tried submitting the serial number. When I played around with different parameters, I got 1963 and 1944--neither of which seemed to match well with the info that you supplied.

Try going to http://www.guitardaterproject.org/gibson.aspx

and fill in all of the info that you have.

Lynne
