Gibson EB-4L Bass 1972
I have this nice Gibson EB-4L SG Bass, Serial # (as best as I can make it out)902021, Made in USA on the back of the headstock. I haven't had it authenticated by an expert, but I did have a luthier look it over and he thought the electronics, etc. were original. It is missing the bridge cover and does have some screw holes around the body where someone had removed the original pick plate (which I have still) and put on a larger pick plate which was later removed. Generally has scratches and wear around it but plays absolutely fine, the three-way switch works fine and it still sounds great- I play out with it today with no problem. I need to pay some vet bills so I'm thinking about selling it. I saw a couple of these come up on ebay recently but one had a headstock erpair and the other had had the frets removed and filled in, so I think mine is in better condition than those. What could I expect to get for it?
