Gibson Chet Atkins hard body acoustic 83219583
It's a white guitar that has aged to an antique white look - with gold hardware. Everything on it is original. I am the original owner - it was made for me in 1991. The first one they made wasn't "perfect" enough in my teachers opinion so he had them remake another one just for me. I have only played it a handful of times (probably under 20 times). There aren't any scratches on it although there is one very small ding on the body but the finish is not cracked. The tip of the back of the head is worn a little (probably from leaning it against a wall at some point). It has it's original brown Gibson USA combination lockable hard case with a hot pink lining... and this is where it has been stored all of these years in a temperature controlled room.
Can you tell me what it's worth today? And if it's value is expected to go up or down?
Thank You!
ANSWERBeautiful Guitar!
I was unable to find a guitar of this model with a solid headstock. The rest of the guitar matches the CE model.
Here is the Blue Book info for that model:
Excellent $825 - 950
Average $500 - 575
