I'd like confirmation of production year (1964?) and value (resale & insurance.) Sorry about the quality of the serial number (159586) but it's hard to stay under 1MB! Thanks.

The serial number does indicate that your guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, USA in 1964.

B-45-12/B-45-12N - slope shouldered large body, spruce top, round soundhole, tortoise pickguard, two-stripe bound body/rosette, mahogany back/sides/neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle, trapeze tailpiece, blackface peghead with pearl split diamond inlay/logo decal, six-per-side nickel tuners with plastic buttons, available in Tobacco Sunburst, Natural and Cherry Sunburst finish, mfg. 1961-1979.
