Gibson B20

Hi, we have a Gibson B20,acoustic, originally purchased in 1973, great condition. Do you know of it's worth, if any.

I have a Gibson B-20 Acoustic, which I bought in 1972. I had to have the bridge reglued, but other than that, it is in excellent condition.

It sounds beautiful, but it is not loud enough to compete with dreadnaughts when playing with my friends. I still have the owners manual, in which I wrote that I paid $172 for it.

I too have one they were only made in 1971 and bring about what a B-25 does on eBay. There was only 500 of them made and they are even rarer because they have the forward X-Bracing in them like a larger dreadnaught as opposed to the normal H-style bracing of Gibson's (most) small body guitars. This bracing is what gives it its
wonderful tone.

I have a Gibson B-20 too. It is a small body acoustic. For it's size i am amazed by the rich "gibson" whole body base sound it provides. I got mine in 1973 and am not sure how long they were made. A few years ago i was told it would probably bring approx $400 if I wanted to trade it.
