ANSWER

Hi, Liz--

Beautiful Guitar! Unfortunately the Blue Book does not list prices for these guitars.

Please visit Framus 12 String for further info and a link to discussions about your guitar, including prices paid by some.

Best Wishes,
Lynne

More Info...

I'm looking for additional info on the value of this guitar. My dad (Army Vet) bought it while we were stationed in Germany. He was the original owner. He has since passed away.

I only play a little and am not very good. So this sits in the case in a corner and is almost never used. It needs a good home with someone who can appreciate the quality and make use of it.

I have primarily held onto it for sentimental reasons. However, my husband is a 34-year old disabled veteran and not currently able to work (he recently had back surgery) and we just received a letter from a foreclosure attorney. We are trying not to alarm our 3 daughters with the situation. I'm trying to find a way to come up with the amount we are behind. I think that selling this might be a good start to getting the amount we need.

If anyone has any information about someone who might be willing to buy this (I really don't want to be ripped off), I would greatly appreciate the information. I'm sure I wouldn't get close to even half the value at a local pawn shop.

God Bless.

Hi, Liz--

Maybe we can help. Just go to Sell My Guitar and fill out the form. You can ignore the donation requirement.

I have seen a lot of people wanting to buy these guitars on the internet, but no mention of prices.
Maybe you could do a "make and offer" or state a price and the "or best offer". In the absence of any available info on the value, that would give you some ideas and options.

Best Wishes,
Lynne
