Flute Lessons

I have always wanted to play the flute. I've played piano since I was a child. I play for our church services and weddings. I've tried to use self-taught videos but can't stay with it. I think the flute is a beautiful instrument and would love to be able to play it. Can you help?

Hi, Sherry--

I love the flute also, but unfortunately I do not play it. My advice would be to find a good teacher since so much of playing the flute has to do with
breath control and embrochure, both of which are not efficiently taught by written lessons or video.

You already have a great advantage because piano and flute are both "C" instruments, so you already can read the music.
