Fender Telecaster

I was wondering how I might tell the age of my Telecaster. I was told when I purchased it several years back that it was a 1974. If a picture would help I'll have to have my daughter help and get back to you. Thanks for your time Steve

Hi, Steve--

You will need to know the serial number to determine the manufacture date.

Hi- I have a 1976 Fender Telecaster serial # 70862 with a Bullet
Truss rod neck that is stamped 3 Aug 72 B.
It seems to be walnut in color and is in excellent condition.
