Fender Stratocaster

by Brandon
(Las Vegas, Nevada)

The serial number starts with E8 so I think it's from 1988-1989 but i'm trying to find a value of it.

ANSWER

Hi, Brandon--

Without a complete serial number, I cannot determine the date, but based on the information that you provided, this seems to be your guitar:

AMERICAN STANDARD STRATOCASTER (1986-2000, U.S. MFG. NO. 010-7400/7402)
- alder body, four-bolt neck plate, 22-fret maple or rosewood fingerboard with black dot inlay, chrome-plated die-cast tuners, standard vibrato with two pivot point design, three-ply white pickguard, three single coil exposed polepiece pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-position switch, chrome hardware, available in Arctic White, Black, Brown Sunburst, Caribbean Mist, Lipstick Red, Midnight Blue, or Midnight Wine polyurethane finishes, mfg. late 1986-2000.

And here is the Blue Book value:

Mint $900
Exc.+ $750
Exc.$675
Avg.+ $600
Avg. $525
General $450

E8-25580
by: Ashley

I have a Fender Stratocaster same year with a serial number E8-25580. I was wondering if I could get a price on it.
