Fender Stratocaster Made is USA - 1979?

Hi,

Was just wondering if I had dated my guitar correctly and what you thought the value would be. I believe it is a 1979 Strat with the serial number: S902891

I've included photos. It is in a great condition condition aside from two tiny dings on the top edge of the body.

The serial number indicates that your guitar was made at the Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era),USA
in 1978 - 1981.

The case is a hard black/black case that says Fender - Made in the USA on it and I believe it is original but am not sure. Would this affect the value?
