Fender Stratocaster 1961

by chris stanley
(england )

Serial number 71746 1961 fender strat. completely origional in origional hard case. Used solidly up until around 1974. It is showing a lot of wear from constant gigging for the 1st 14 or 15 years of its life but to me that makes it more attractive as it has been used exactly for what it was made for :) . This guitar is definaty NOT for sale I just need to know how much to insure it for as I recently inherited it. It has been in the UK all of its life and was bought by the previuos owner from Jennings Musical industries who were the sole importer up to 1963 I think? My stepfather bought it from them second hand in 1964 for the sum of £50.00
