Hi Lynne, I have a '65 Jazz Bass. S/no L82109. It is in excellent original condition, including pickup covers. What is the current value of this vintage instrument. Where was it made? Any idea what month? All the best Gary

The serial number indicates that Your guitar was made at the Fullerton Plant (Fender - Pre CBS Era),USA in 1965. The month of manufacture is not available.

JAZZ BASS (1965-1981) - offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, four-on-one-side tuners, fixed bridge with string mutes, F logo bridge cover, two J-style pickups, two concentric (v, tone) controls, tortoiseshell/metal pickguard with finger rest, chrome hardware, available in Blonde, Black, Custom Colors, or 3-Tone Sunburst finish, mfg. 1965-1981.
