Fender F35--What Year and What Kind of Wood?

I was wondering if you tell me the year of my Fender F35 acoustic guitar and what kind of wood was used and country of manufacture? The serial number is F7811774. Thanks

Hi, ptacsik--

I was able to narrow the manufacture date down to 1972-1981. Apparently the serial numbers for these years are in question. A serial number search comes back as "serial number unrecognized".

The construction of your guitar is as follows:

F-35
- dreadnought style, spruce top, Ovangkol back and sides, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard, adjustable rosewood bridge, black pickguard, Natural finish, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1972-1981.

The Blue Book provides no information about the country of manufacture.
