Fender F-35 Serial Number 7920551

by Terry
(Ogden Utah (USA))

I have a Fender F-35 S/N 7920551
I would like to know more about it
where it was made the type of wood used, if possible...
I have been looking to buy a new Martin or Gibson
all the Guitar I have looked at ranges from $2500 to $5.000 My fender plays like butter I have not found any other guitar that compares to mine, this one sings
back to me.

ANSWER

Hi, Terry--

There should be a letter before the serial number.
Without it, I can't give you a specific date or location.

Here is the General info from the Blue Book:

F-35
- dreadnought style, spruce top, Ovangkol back and sides, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard, adjustable rosewood bridge, black pickguard, Natural finish, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1972-1981. \
