Fender F-25

How do I determine year of manufacture? Value?

ANSWER

Hello, drob--

The serial number should be located either on the back of the headstock or inside the guitar.

Here is the general info:

F-25
- auditorium style, spruce top, Nato back and sides, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard, adjustable rosewood bridge, black pickguard, Natural finish, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 1972-1981

The pricing is the same for all years:

Excellent $50 - 70
Average $20 - 30

There will be owners that will tell you that it is worth more. These are Blue Book Prices and reflect the value placed on the guitar by collectors.

Any guitar is worth exactly what someone will pay you for it.

Lynne
