Fender Duosonic

Serial #: L22XXX (1964?)
It has a clear red finish that doesn't seem to be a standard finish so I wonder if it has been refinished. The finish looks old and is well done so it might be just a non-standard color.
White plastic pickguard, 3-position switch. It's got some buckle rash on the back and the frets are fairly worn but it still plays good.
I've also got a Princeton amp that looks to be about the same vintage, single 10" speaker, tremolo (not reverb).
ANSWERHi, Mikes--
Nice guitar! Thanks for the picture.
Here is the Blue Book info. on the guitar:
1960-1964
Mint $1,150
Exc.+ $925
Exc. $775
Avg.+ $650
Avg.$550
General $450
The finish IS apparently original. Here is the info:
In 1964, the body was redesigned to look like the Mustang with a contoured body, offset body waists, two angled pickups, and Red, Blue, and White finishes were introduced.
As far as the amp goes, I am sorry but I have no resources for vintage amp values.
