Fender Balboa serial number 5715783

How old is this guitar and what roughly would its resale value be. It has a couple of scratches and a chip in the wood but otherwise in reasonable good condition. Thanks

The serial number came up as "unrecognized". Was there a letter before it?

In any case, these guitars were only made between
1983-87, so that narrows it down quite a bit. Here is the Blue Book general info:

BALBOA
- single cutaway style, solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, original Fender electronics, Natural finish, mfg. 1983-87.
