Fender Balboa Dread Cutaway Acoustic/elect (1983-1987)

What would the value of this guitar be now? I paid about $400.00 for it in 1983.

ANSWER

Here is the Blue Book info:

BALBOA
- single cutaway style, solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, original Fender electronics, Natural finish, mfg. 1983-87.
Excellent $325 - 400
Average $175 - 225

Great Guitar

I also paid 600 for mine from the original owner with paperwork. took mine to the shop and had the neck set and ivory bridge insert installed. The electronics are original and could use an upgrade but they are rarely used anyway. I plan to own many more guitars in the future but this one will probably stay with me forever. Great sound and playability.. 5 Stars in my book.

I bought mine a few years ago on Ebay. I paid a little under $400.00. I had the nut and saddle replaced and the neck set. It's not for sale. It's a $1000 better than what it cost.

I paid 600.00 U.S for mine several years ago. I bought it from the original owner with the paperwork. I had the neck set and an ivory bridge insert cut for it. I love it and sure wouldn't take 600.00 for it.
