Early 1930s Martin D28 Guitar

My dad died and I inherited it. It's in excellent shape and in the original case. My dad bought it in the early 30s from Martin. Do you have any idea what it's worth and how would I go about selling it.

Hi, Richard--Without an exact year, I cannot give you an exact value. Here are the Blue Book values for the early 1930's:
1931-1933 Herringbone
Excellent $95,000 - 105,000
Average $60,000 - 70,000
1934-1938 Herringbone
Excellent $90,000 - 100,000
Average $55,000 - 65,000
As far as selling your guitar, I really have no experience with selling guitars of this value.
