Does Cold Weather Harm Drums?

Is it harmful to drums to keep them in a car for six or seven hours in 20s temps.?

ANSWER

While this temperature is definitely not IDEAL, the drums will most likely survive. Just be sure to let them warm up gradually before you play or tune them.

You will not want to make this type of storage a regular habit.
