Carlos Model 438

by Eric
(Pennsylvania)

Carlos Model 438

Carlos Model 438

It's approx 25 years old. I got it for Xmas as an early teen. It's recently been restrung, otherwise it's in nearly perfect condition. It's mostly collected dust - I never played it.

But it's been cleaned up, tuners tightened, etc. Finish is perfect. Only a few tiny scrapes or rub marks, far fewer than you'd get playing it for a week.

I only JUST pulled the protective plastic off the pickguard when I restrung it a few months ago.

No evidence of a serial number. The ONLY marks on it are the model number, that looks like it was TYPED onto the label, and the sticker from the music store where it was purchased. Both clearly visible inside the guitar body.

ANSWER

Hi, Eric--

This model is not listed in the Blue Book, nor are ANY models of Carlos guitars. I also could find no information on the internet other than the guitars were manufactured in Korea in the 1970's.

Sorry I could not be of more help.

Lynne
