Bongo Drum replacement heads
by: Marc

I had asked about what part of a bongo to measure in order to buy the correct size replacement head. A woman named Lynne told me to measure the diameter of the "shell". Could some please let me know if the shell is simply the actual body of the drum. Thank you.

ANSWER

Hi, Marc--

Measure the diameter of the TOP rim of the drum without the head.
