Here is the Blue Book info. about Bently guitars:

Instruments previously manufactured in Asia between circa 1985 and 1998. Distributed in the U.S. by St. Louis Music in St. Louis, MO.
St. Louis Music imported Bently instruments as their entry-level to medium quality solid body guitar and bass line. Most models featured designs based on classic American favorites. In 1998, SLM discontinued the Bently line when they introduced the Austin line. Bently guitars are usually found priced between $50 and $100 on the used market.
