Attaching a cymbal to my snare drum

hi,
i am a beginner and when i bought my snare drum it had a cymbal attached to it.Unfortunately the guy in the store took it off for packaging. can you tell me how and where I attach it again? Do I have to take the top rim off?

I apologize, but I have never heard of a cymbal attached to a snare drum. Maybe the best thing to do is go back to the store and ask them how it attaches. I could not find any information on the web about a cymbal arm that attaches to a snare drum.
