Model 5045. Serial (A) 82371. Neck A 80112. Hand made in Japan. Commemorative plaque for 60th anniversary of SLM. 1922-1982. Commemorative number: 000277. One 1/2 inch scratch and one small rubbing mark (very light surface abrasion--NOT deep) on back of neck. Some VERY light surface scratches on pick guard. Very slight rub marks (from contact with clothing) on body back. Otherwise, stellar condition. Dark finish overall (see photos).

Please note that these photos fail to reflect the true beauty of the finish on this guitar. This guitar has been extremely well maintained and has a wonderful, resonant sound. Would like to know the used value of this guitar, please. And, please suggest a fair selling price. Thank you!

It IS a beautiful guitar, and in very good shape for a guitar manufactured in 1982. The "SLM" stands for the St. Louis Music Company, who were the US distributors at that time for Japanese made Alvarez guitars.

Th Blue Book makes no special mention of this anniversary edition. Here is the Blue Book general info:
