Hello and thank you for allowing me to Post this item. What I know about this Guitar is that it is an Airline 7230 - Triple Pickup
Electric hollowbody - Distributed by Montgomery Wards - Based on Harmony H78. Production year(s) : 1963/1965 (other years possible, not verified).
While redburst (H78) and sunburst (H76) versions were sold at the same time under the Harmony brand, the Airline was red at first (63-65) then sunburst later (see model 7280). This particular one belonged to my Grandfather who as a child I remember him playing songs for us. He took great care of it and always kept it in it's case when not in use. He was the only one in our Family who had Musical Talent.
This was passed onto me because me and my Grandfather were so close. I am somewhat disappointed that I never learned to play and even though I would love to learn it would be very difficult since I have problems with my hands. I really enjoy sharing this piece with anyone who is interested, I think it is a beautiful guitar and has a very nice sound to it. Thank you for letting me Share. Could you tell me what the Value of this Guitar might be. Thank you. Take care and God Bless....
