Accidentals and Key signatures

by Dorcas Vergara
(Philippines)

difference Between accidentals and key signatures
description of accidentals and key signatures

ANSWER

Hi, Dorcas--

The KEY SIGNATURE is the sharp or flat symbols that appear at the beginning of ma piece of music which tells you that ALL (for example) F's are sharp.

Accidentals are sharps or flats which appear in the piece but are NOT in the key signature.
