'79 Gretsch Beast BST 5000

Hi. Anyone know the blue-book value of a '79 Gretsch "Beast" BST 5000? It have the original hard-shell case if that matters.

There is a site up about these guitars, looks interesting and has some information on the entire line...so there are others out there that find these to be much over looked iconic rock guitars!

I own one and love it. Anyone selling, I will buy another (reach me @ 4dhughes2@gmail.com). The push pull volume nobs split the coils (in for dual humbucking / out for single coil). The mini toggle changes the phasing of the two pickups (up for in phase / down for out of phase). BST 5000 is closer to the Gretsch Committee than the BST 2000 or BST 1000. Gretsch also made a fine Committee Bass that has the same body style as the BST 5000.

these guitars are the icon of solid body guitars,and whoever is appraising these guitars,are out of there MIND!!!!!!!!!
