- alder body, black pickguard, black Anniversary logo on bass bout, 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlay, Sperzel tuners, four-bolt neckplate with "1954 - 1979 25th Anniversary" logo, standard vibrato, three single coil pickups, three knobs (v, two tone), five-position switch, chrome hardware, available in Metallic Silver finish, mfg. 1979-1980.

Subtract 20% for cracked Pearl White finish.
Approximately 10,000 of these instruments were produced. List price included a hardshell case. Anniversary Stratocaster 6-digit serial numbers begin with a 25. Early models (estimated to be around 500) of this series were finished in a Pearl White finish, which checked and cracked very badly. Most models were returned to the factory to be refinished.
