'74 Flint Hills W/ ebony fingerboard
by: Anonymous

I have a 1974 Flint Hills Mossman that has a ebony fingerboard. I bought it brand new at Shaw's music, Columbia, MO---I have played it professionally since December '76. It is, and will always be my favorite, most playable, and best sounding guitar.

Only 6 signatures
by: Anonymous

Well my 1975 Tennessee Flattop has about 30 signatures on it, I believe that when Conn screwed over Mossman on 1200 guitars they stored in the desert and Mossman had to eat them Stuart Mossman had no choice but to drop staff. He continued to make them until about 1983-1984. Scott Baxendale one of his learned employees bought what was left of the company and made a few guitars from about 85-90 or so. Now a gentleman in Sulfer Springs, Texas makes them one at a time, also very high quality. (I also have one of them a 1999 Mark Wheeler.
