"X-500 (sb stands for sunburst finish)
- single round cutaway hollow style, bound arched laminated spruce top, 2 bound f-holes, bound tortoise pickguard, maple back/sides/neck, 20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block/abalone wedge inlay, adjustable ebony bridge, stylized trapeze tailpiece, bound peghead with pearl shield/logo inlay, 3-per-side Imperial tuners, gold hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume/2 tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Blonde or Sunburst finishes, mfg. 1953-1995."
