1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

by Vini
(Carson City, NV)

1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

I have owned this guitar since 1979 and have lost original pick guard and replaced the tuners with Grovers. I have tried to take good care of it but she has done plenty of gigs and so isn't perfectly cherry. Just a few little dings here and there and the paint has a couple very small cracks starting with age and use is all though.. I have also replaced nut and saddles recently and have set-up her action to play SWEET and the classic sound of the mini-humbuckers is as fantastic as they ever were. NOT looking to sell but just curious of what the value might be these days, especially since Les past away. Oh, the serial # is99123159 on decal on top back of head stock with Les Paul -Deluxe and Made in USA and also has a large 2 stamped below it- so it is a second. What I'm sure that blem is you can notice in the pic. The pick-ups are not centered with the neck. It still sounds GREAT! Also, I had the pots out once and found date stamped 9-11-75 under them in red with an "A" in a square box and initials "BZ" kind of hand burned over- I assume the inspector or builder. I didn't know when I got her but there is no doubt it's a 1975.Thanks.
