Refinish
by: Anonymous

What if the guitar has been refinished and the tuners replaced?

ANSWER

Any alteration of the guitar from original condition and equipment will reduce the value of the guitar. The refinish is the most damaging, the tuners less so.

Blue Book values are based on collector demand and collectors seek original condition guitars.
