1965 Joseph Wallo classical concert guitar (6 string)
by Rick Firestone
(Columbiana, Ohio)
I have a friend who has had to place her aunt in a nursing home, due to alzheimer's disease. She is her aunt's guardian and has been going through her belongings and found the above guitar. She doesn't know what she is going to do with it, but first, she wanted to find out what it is worth. Here is the description, as she emailed it to me.........
"It is a Joseph Wallo 1965 classical concert guitar (6 string) with a Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and a German Spruce Top. It is in very good, but not perfect condition."......
If you can give us some idea of what this guitar is worth, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

ANSWER
Hi, Rick--
This guitar is not listed in the Blue Book. I did a considerable amount of research and was able to find some information for you.
This is a link to a forum discussion about Joseph Wallo and his guitars.

This one is a link to a site where a Joseph Wallo guitar is offered for sale.

It seems that the guitar might be sold for a good sum, but I am not sure where you would go to sell it. Maybe advertise on Ebay or contact "Elderly Instruments"
Elderly Instruments
and see what they have to say.
Good Luck and Best Wishes to your friend!
