1963 Martin D-18

My mother purchased this guitar in 1963 she says for $600. It has "D-18 209738" printed inside. Also has the grey-blue hard shell case. Pretty much normal wear on the body - few dings here and there.

She was offered $100 for guitar and case - I told her the case is worth more than that! She does not intend to sell necessarily but we would like to have more of an idea of it's worth.

Thanks,
Cori <*)))><

ANSWER

Hi, Cori--

I hope it was not a FRIEND of your Mother's who offered $100.00 (just joking)--

Here is the Blue Book info:

1963-1965

Excellent $3,200 - 4,000

Average $2,000 - 2,500

Best wishes!

Lynne
