1963 Fender Telecaster
by JohnnyBlaze
(Alabama)
63 tele with case
My guitar is a 63 fender tele that was refinished to a beautiful natural wood color in the late seventies. This was my fathers guitar and it is a player and will continue to be as long as I am alive. I recently took ownership of it. Ahh I have been waiting for years. Things had been changed throughout the years but lucky my father kept all the original parts. The bridge pickup was blown and the neck pickup pickup unfortunately was the only thing i couldn't put my hands on. I had Jason Lollar rewind the bridge pickup for me and I bought one of his hand made neck pickups. I found the correct wire on e-bay and capacitors as well. It is a dream to play the action is so easy. It feels like butter in my hands. Anyone who has never had the chance to play one of these has no idea what they are missing. I will not be selling mine but I would love to know its worth.
