1957 Elger Guitar
by: Gene

I've owned a 1957 (I believe), Elger Guitar. I acquired it from the late "Philadelhia Jerry Ricks", when he lived in Denver, CO for a brief spell. I just happen to look on Ebay and their is a Elger 335 model that looks like it's twin. However, the one I own is smaller, at least it looks like it. Anyway the model number is: 23279.
I would like to know if it is really a 1957 make and what model it is? There have been a lot of stories that Harry Rosenblum made a few himself with German Craftmen before they started to be manufactured by the Japanese.
My model even has an "E" carved into the volume/affect knobs.

Sincerely,
Gene
