1959 Harmony Stratotone Jupiter electric
by darren heigle
(new castle indiana)
purchased new in 1959. paid 170.00 for it then. have original case with it.
this is their flagship guitar with dual DeArmand pick ups and the blend knob.
guitar is in beautiful shape. never any damage and has not really been played in 15 years. it is a family treasure but would sell it for proper value.
Have had several offers on it as i have sent pics and info on it to guitar stores.
Number on the guitar is S-59-P
the S is either second shift or Summer. the harmony company doesn't know for sure. 59 is the make year and P stands for Professional model which is even more rare than the models without P.
no pics with me at time of this email. can send later if needed.
