1954 Martin 000-18

by Randy B. Mayfield
(St. Louis, MO)

Martin 000-18

Martin 000-18

Excellent condition, I've owned it for 45 years and my grandfather was only owner prior to that. I play it sparingly and have kept humidified and in a Martin case.

Serial # is 139971

Thats a really nice guitar! My brother recently stopped by a thrift store here in our home town with my mom to browse like they due often and my brother came across a guitar case not knowing if it was empty,So he decided to look in it and there was a 1953 Martin 000-18 in rough shape but still very playable but best of all it was only $3.00 Some people just have all the luck.....lol

Thanks Lynne
by: Randy

Thanks Lynne,

It is a very nice guitar and sounds great. I knew that it was valuable. I think my grandfather paid just a few hundred dollars for it in '54 but it's kept it's beauty and great sound for more than 50 years. That's the beauty of a well built Martin!

Peace,
Randy M.
