1945 Martin Guitar 00-18

by Robert Hardy
(Pascagoula, MS)

My Father purchased a Martin Guitar in 1945 which I now own. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition.

The inventory detail is Model # 00-18 Serial #71628.

Can you give me the guitar's value? I want to sell the guitar as quickly as possible.

Thanks in advance.

ANSWER

Hi, Robert--

The serial number indicates a 1938 manufacture date.

Here is the Blue Book pricing info:

1934-1944
Excellent $6,500 - 8,000
Average $4,500 - 5,500
