1941 Martin 00-18G

by Tim Benson
(Colorado Springs, CO. USA)

Any idea what it's worth? I'd say it's in very good shape for a 1941. Plays and sounds incredible.

ANSWER

Hi, Tim--

Here is the Blue Book general info:

00-18G Gut String
- similar to the 00-18, except in classical nylon string configuration with X-bracing, fan patterned, and a pin tied bridge, total production of 5,140 instruments, mfg. 1936-1962.

The pricing info:

1940-1949
Excellent $1,850 - 2,250
Average $1,200 - 1,450
