1938 Martin D18
by Tom
(Texas)
My guitar has had some work performed on it by David Musselwhite. Neck reset , some cracks fixed. Overall guitar is very nice. Guitar was refinished in the fifties. All original except tuners. They are open back fifties type I've seen on other Martin guitars from
same time period.
Thanks for your help.

The pricing info:
1934-1938 14-Fret Body
Excellent $30,000 - 35,000
Average $20,000 - 25,000
The other repairs will not significantly affect the value. The refinishing, however, will detract from the value. It is not possible to determine byh how much without viewing the guitar, but probably enough to place the guitar in the Average category.
